My lap top screen went out last week. Yeah, it was not fun. I have three friends who are DBA's and they could help me out. All my documents were transfered and when I get my new computer I'll be able to have them.
I'm getting my new computer tonight!
Its a MacBookPro 15.4 inch screen! I'm super excited.
I want to learn how to use that computer and do cool things. :)
I'm at work now and since I will have a new computer soon I think it will make me want to blog more. :)
I will post some photos from Denver Pride and such in my next post...also a pic of my dog! haha... :)
Last month I decided I should actually get involved in a political campaign and help out. In November, Colorado will be voting on some huge issues. One of them is the governor and many other regarding Domestic Partnerships and a ban on Gay Marriage.
Well, I have been volunteering with the Bill Ritter Campaign.
Last month I decided I should actually get involved in a political campaign and help out. In November, Colorado will be voting on some huge issues. One of them is the governor and many other regarding Domestic Partnerships and a ban on Gay Marriage.
Ritter is the democratic running for Colorado's Governor. Bill Clinton was coming to Colorado to speak at some Columbine High School thing...however, before that he was speaking at a $500 a plate lunch at the Colorado Convention Center. Ritter was going to be there and many other Democratic.
The Ritter campaign wanted a big presence of support for Ritter at this event...so we were holding signs, wearing shirts, passing out stickers etc. There were of course protesters of Clinton holding signs saying "Clinton is a Rapist."
We over powered them by huge numbers. Ritter showed up and I got to shake his hand. Then it was all over.
However, a lady I had meet while being there wanted to wait around for Clinton. So did I! So, we walked around the building and found where he was going to be coming into the building. We went inside and just waited. I was kind of surprised they were so forth coming of some information. But eh...if he was the current President it would be so different. But we saw him! The lady I was with said' Wish you were still the president.." he waved at us! It was so cool!
