Older shot, taken when I first got the macro lens.

I did some fancy masking to desaturate the petals, but leave the inner bits a nice shade of blue. All of the details in the white petals are in the high end of the spectrum: there is almost no black in this photo. The end result is an odd tonal range, but I like it.

This is a stack of six images, with different focus distances. I seem to be experimenting with impressionism. I like the dreamy quality of the result. I also hate the dreamy quality of the result. That probably means it's good.

It might mean it's crap.

Then again, it might also point out my complete incompetence with respect to the apostrophe in relation to the contraction of "it is."

An impressionists view of some bamboo...

Eight or nine seperate images (don't remember, the Mac is struggling with the 200Mb file) stacked together, blended and merged and massaged.

I think I like this one a little more than the leaf. It's more abstract.

I seem to be in an abstract mood lately.

This is a slightly edited photo of some graffiti paint strokes on the plexiglass panes of a bus shelter. The camera had a hard time dealing with the red, hence the abstract nature of this one.
