Magnolia, with the red channel at -100%, green +50% and blue +150%. I guess its like infrared, but maybe ultraviolet.

The background is a little weird to me. Something in the detail in the grass behind.

The background's a distortion of light induced by the gravitational pull of the black hole at the centre of the bloom, dragging us down into it and altering our perceptions as we go. In other words: it works.
