Yellow Flower

Yellow Flower

Yellow flowers in the Finerty Gardens at UVic. The curves in the petals caught my interest while I was there, but the out-of-focus flowers in the background are more interesting to me now.

Beautiful! When did you take that one? I like the background flowers, too. It's almost like they're watching the flower in the foreground.

I didn't even notice the background flowers when I shot it, but afterwards I realized how much depth they add to the photo. And I like how they mirror the subject, but so much more out-of-focus.
