Seven, not four, SEVEN

IMG_2669-1.jpg

There's construction in the neighbour hood. I don't mind construction. I can deal with construction. In a year, two new condo-complexes will be complete, and I'll be within walking distance of a Home Despot. That's cool, more taxes in the neighbourhood, maybe even more municipal services in the area.

BUT... (and you just knew there was a but coming)... The latest one, condo-complex #3 will be seven stories tall. See that crane there? Big Ugly Condo (BUC) will be taller. I don't like this. There isn't a building within ten miles that is more than four stories tall. This one will be seven. SEVEN!

I hate it already. Someone get me my walking stick, I'm going to go hit the crane to show my disgust and maybe I'll yell "get out of my neighbourhood you whippersnappersBig Ugly Condo!"

ben:

Just pretend the condo's a puppy.

I was actually distracted from the crane by thoughts of playing on the adventure playground with you.

HAHA! But it isn't even dark.

And, my favourite part of the photo: my shadow in the bottom center, kinda like a halo effect. I'm so holy.
