I've been on the mend lately. Things seem to be getting better in most ways. Classes are going well, the Shakespeare work is going along a little more smoothly (there will be a nerdy post soon), my health is improving (cold be DAMNED! DAMNED I SAY!).
I've volunteered some light graphic design work to some friends, with lovely results. Homework isn't too much of a problem right now.
I think I'm happy.
And I turn 29 on Tuesday. My twenties will be ending soon. Gah. How? What? I didn't approve that.

On the bright side, you have this whole Dorian Gray thing happening with the not looking any older and the pristine features and cute face. I swear, I'm withering away to nothing faster. :P
And I'm very glad you're happy.

Ya, it's funny. You start off in life wanting to reach various milestones.
10 - Woot double Digits!
13 - Awesome, I'm a teenager!
16 - This is soo freaking cool, I'm in a car going somewhere and no one else is with me.
18 - Finally no one else can tell me what to do! I'm an *adult*
20 - Errr... OK... 20's cool.. not a teenager anymore but that shtick was getting old anyway...
21 - What is with this milestone anyway? I suppose it's a prime number but otherwise a bit arbitrary
25 - Hmmm... quarter century old.. I'm not sure about this. Ok, still cool.... am maturing...
and then there's
30 - Woah, back up! hold the phone...
Suddently you realise you can't backpedal.
Oh well, at least "Sex in the City" proves that there's life after 30.

Majeric... 21 isn't a prime number... you can get it by multiplying 7 and 3. :)
And Michael, you need to read the fine print. Apparently aging comes with the whole "being born" thing. I think we're all tricked into it when we come into existence.

Happy almost-birthday! It'll be smashing, dahling, I can almost taste the Nagiri. I know I spelt that horribly, horribly wrong. See you tomorrow!

"Let us go then, you and I," as Eliot said, as Prufrock stated, as we wiggle past the underground defense forces with our Typewriter Gang armbands and mouthfuls of juice. Spear Nigiri, spear prawns, spear savage sunomono with chopsticks. To lance, to lance, to joust thus-- to kiss----
