There has been too much fussing about with my mother. An intelligent solution is needed, but one has not yet presented itself. Drastic measures may be necessary if the situation does not improve.
There have been far too many bad movies lately. An intelligent solution has presented itself, and promises to save me money. I won't go to bad movies any more. Is this a drastic solution?

I assume you mean Ken Jennings? I was absolutely shocked when I found out he lost. He was in the final round with only $14000 and that pretty much never happens. In all the shows I saw the other people could not have won at Final Jeopardy at all most of the time. It's practically a landmark in gameshow history.
75 wins in a row. That is one smart guy.
