I love! Much more organized and user-friendly. I would perhaps re-think that shade of green, but overall it's aesthetic and coolio.

I like the way it looks like a newspaper. It's cool. I also really like the way the annoucments show up at the side, rather than on the top.
Might I suggest though that the font is a little big, and the spacing is a little much. I would like to see more text on the screen - right now it seems to be too much white space. (But this could be because I'm using IE, I don't know.)
Anyway, good idea. :)
