It scares me too. Could a cure for one of the most frightening, incurable diseases possibly be that easy? Could it be that cheap?
Will a drug company charge $40,000/year for treatment? Probably.

You know, assuming their designer virus doesn't start designing itself and becomes as much of a problem. Or, you know, there was some disturbing undercurrent to the whole issue in the first place...
