Day One of My 28th Year

Ssshhhhh.....

Not so loud.

Even the sound of the typing is making it worse.

That's better.

Day one of my 28th year was yesterday.

Had a blast. Started off at the chocolate festival. How can you go wrong with a chocolate festival for breakfast? I don't think you can. Had some fantastic goodies and treats. Then to the spa for a facial and a massage. I haven't been that relaxed in a very long time.

It was the first time people had thrown me a party. Usually, it's the other way around, or I just attend parties put on by other people. It made me feel special and loved, and reminded me just how important and caring my friends are.

Most Surreal Moment: Introducing "Shots", "Gusto" and "Pennies" to a faithful (and astoundingly beautiful) reader.

I didn't get many gifts, which actually made me very happy; A sonnet from benny, and a copy of Batman. Brandon gave me a copy of Dead Poets Society. Everyone brought wonderful dishes to share. Lots of conversation and drink, probably more drink than should have been.

And cheese. Loads of cheese. Brie, Brie, Brie, Camambare (sp? sorry, can't be bothered to fix it), cheddar with red wine in it (sorry, can't remember the name of the red wine stuff. Jo and I laughed about it for a while), cottage cheese, cheesy jokes...

I just wanna know where my phone is.

I'm glad you had a good birthday, honey. My brain hurts from certain substances and I'm amazed I haven't attacked anyone with a baseball bat today.

I had a great time too!
