I've finally done it. No going back now. Can't even get my deposit back. They even tell me that she's on her way here and I can finally see her in two weeks. I've been wanting one for so long, and I can finally rid myself of the one I built myself.
I wonder if she will like me. My last one and I have gotten along so well, it will be bad to see her go, but it really is time for a new one. A portable one.
I'm so excited, I might just burst. I can't wait to see her.
(and praise jebuz for the educational discount)

Despite the danger in mail order brides, I'm sure you and she will get on famously. You already everything about her, and love her, and all the things you don't know will only make you happier. My own experience, with a slightly different partner mind you, has been nothing but bliss. Congratulations.

Nuffen, Michael is not lost to the forces. He is simply returning to the fold.
Michael, she'll treat you right.
Mine makes me feel powerful. Having said that, I'm not sure I like the fact that I'm the one with the slowest model. Hrm... I wonder how long it would take me to save enough money for a G5. :)

Not true nuffen. My very first computer was a Macintosh Performa that didn't really performa all that well. It was sad, little computer that didn't have enough ram (8mb, 32mb max) or hard drive (512mb) and a 14.4 telephone modem thingy. Small, slow and sluggish, but a wonderful toy.

Which one did you get? The 12", 15", or 17"? Did you get the superdrive?
Fun fun fun! :) Now that Macs are Unixy, I'm very pro Mac.
Still.. I was using mac os 9.1 last night, and it was too friendly with it's errors. Its error told me what was wrong, and how to fix it, but when I did that it still suggested the same course of action. =grumble= :)
