With Gusto

Nice

I don't know why but I feel the need to announce that I'm seeing somebody, quite steadily, and am quite happy with her. She's Japanese, an ex-student of mine -- so cliche. But we get along and she's nice to me. Good cook, manners, has her own place, etc. She's one of the few J-girls I was seeing for a while that wasn't just interested in English lessons. Depending on the girl, it seems fine at first, English lessons in exchange for hot companionship, but it tires easily. The kindness this girl has shown me has been great. So yeah. There you have it. Happy happy.

And I have another show lined up. This time in Koenji. 高円寺, at Rakuya, 楽や. This scene is great for a tokyo history of folk music. it's an area I've been meaning to break into. I even handled the audition on the phone in Japanese. So kudos to relentless study of Japanese and especially Kanji. It really has been the best way to learn.

Tomorrow, gonna meet the girl, get cooked for, have a coupla drinks, and study. After I finish my part-time job. Which is steadily on the rise in the number of hours worked per week. I've even been keeping my room clean.

In other news I'm going down to Osaka in March, as well as Korea.
