(I find it imperative to report that I took a permanent marker and white-out to my free guitar. It is now the Art-Guitar. I bite my finger nails off and drop them into the hollow-body. It now makes a mild percussive "whish" when I shake it hard enough. Soon enough it will be the world's LARGEST MARACA+) >>>>>>the plus sign is the latest EXCLAMATION MARK>>>>>>>
A Digital Camera

An MP3 Player
Some Speakers
Some other bullshit.
And I'm still pretty loaded.
And how much has escaped through the cracks? Enough.
The first Maid Cafe has opened in Toronto! In Victoria they had the same ordeal in Oak Bay. Except dour locals paraded around with terribly overpriced scones all in the name of TRADITIION! The Maid Cafe sprang forth from the demand of the Otaku. Otaku is a Japanese word for "Fucking loser shut-in can't get laid computer man." I don't necessarily endorse the "maid cafe," but I don't think it's so bad in the end. There is the "Naked Chef," which is essentially the same thing. And when the Maid Cafe is compared to the horrible tradition of the Oak Bay, well, I don't know, but it seems a little more like, trendy, as opposed to colonial.
Well, where'd my money go? Where'd my prioritizing of capitals go? With the vodka I suppose. With the oolong tea. But not with the O'Zack chips. Worst fuckin chips evah, mon. Worst fuckin' chips evah.
Posted by matty-b at January 17, 2007 9:17 AMI just looked up "maid cafe." That's the most fucked up thing ever! Well, maybe not ever, but it's still pretty fucked up.
Posted by: Clifford's Mojo at January 17, 2007 6:15 PMBrilliant post, M! I like how you compared Oak Bay to Akihabura; the Oak Bayers would *hate* that so hard. Nice finish, too -- I consider myself warned ...
