Lavaplatos -- not magma, nor philosophical. It means dishwasher in Spanglish and usually written in bold letters on the dishwasher box.
I'm sort of getting into John Coltrane through the new Thelonious Monk collaboration recorded years ago but, to my understanding, only released very recently. Coltrane has a very stark, yet melodic tone on this recording.
Getting very tired. Had awesome dinner. Almond tofu with sliced kiwi, orange, and banana, steamed broccoli with yellow pepper, and two potato buns and one raisin bun with cheddar sliced across. Was going to watch "Misfits." Will do that in the morning. Ended up watching the abridged version of "Patch Adams" on the tele.
Picked up the killerest deal in the CRD yesterday: Hermmanator. It is long after the well dried. The Strathcona was selling them and I picked up three. I have a reserve of Hermmanator. And you don't.
Seen any good films recently?

The server is slow at the moment, which is totally fine, I rarely give them a dime, but it takes. I've clicked the same link like forty times in a row so at least I'll hopefully make it slow for all of the other users on at the moment. Almost there. One, possibly two, links away)
Port of Shadows -- 1938 French, poet-realist
Don't Drink the Water -- Woody Allen, 1996, set in an American Embassy far far away from America.
Johnny Cash! -- documentary. lots of live footage from 68. Studio footage with Dylan. Lots of Johnny in a motor home with June, driving around the flat-lands talking to ugly people.
Monsiuer Verdoux -- 1948, Charlie Chaplan. Post-tramp. He plays a serial-killing dude who goes after strange rich women's money. Counts cash extremely fast. Ties murder and love to war.
