Labour Day

Breakfast today at Floyd's. Lots of coffee. Daredevil and J.J. Cale at home while the girl cleaned. I washed dishes. We decided to empty out the spare room and create a study room. Problem: my mass of laundry can only move one place: where the kitty litter box is. Although empty, kitty litter adorns the surrounding carpet. Get the vacuum. Bag full. No extra bags. Girl goes to store to get bags. Will she get the right ones? Lots of stuff in the spare room, clutter. Hallway filled with laundry.

I have a show on the 17th. Looking forward. Gonna kick it. Writing songs, though debating about tempo and feel of late.

School starts tomorrow and I don't have to go. All I have to do is get my ass in gear and hop the pond. Hee-ya, mule!

WE? WE decided to clean out the spare room? I was under the impression that I had thought of it, and that you bitched and moaned about it for three months before making any effort to help me.

Riiight. When the other option for my laundry is, "Hey Matt, why not hang it up DIRECTLY OVER the kitty litter. What a great place!"

It's no secret that you wanted my laundry mixed in with kitty litter -- I have no idea why, I just know this has been your agenda for some months, and conveniently, you chose a holiday to clean the house.
