I've got all of the documentary footage done, and I've got a place to edit it. The only problem is, is that I'm going to need around 75 dollars to do it. I have no money until sept 8 (excluding rent). The documentary needs to be completed tomorrow. It's either that or write two 2500 word essays over today and tomorrow. Not a chance. In either of my choices?
Posted by matty-b at August 17, 2004 2:11 PMI still maintain you should write a 2500-wd meta-fiction piece about *trying* to make the documentary. You say it sounds like giving up, but I think it would be so self-reflexive - kind of like "My Dinner With Andre," except opposite (theatre on film replaced with film on paper). And parts of the essay could be written as film script. You know BH loves weird essays like that ... And you could still use the footage to make a documentary in the fall when the lab is open again.
Meh?
Posted by: Joy at August 17, 2004 2:35 PMConsidering BH gave me an A for a paper proving that Ethan Hawke in "Gattaca" is actually transgendered, I suspect it would work. You should do it, Matty.
